Who We Are
betmar languages inc. has been operating as a full service language agency since 1985. Established as a partnership, betmar languages incorporated in 1993. We are a woman-owned and operated business, registered as a Minnesota Target Group vendor, Woman-owned Business (W) vendor #81096015 00.
Over time, betmar languages has developed a large network of qualified and reliable interpreters and translators covering nearly all languages and all fields of expertise – legal, medical, social service, technical, financial, personal, travel, motivational, promotional, literary, scientific, and others. Our office personnel are skilled in language ability and/or business management ability.
Statement of Purpose is: to provide the highest possible quality translation and interpreting services in an efficient, timely, and cost effective manner. By matching the talents of the most educated, verbally skilled translators/interpreters available with assignments appropriate to their expertise, we provide the match making, organizational, and job management skills required to successfully complete interpretation and translation assignments. As a crucial part of this process betmar languages, inc. pledges to operate with integrity, communicate clearly, compensate fairly, and treat both client and translator/interpreter with due respect.
Full Service
betmar languages has positioned itself to offer full service assistance with language related projects. To that end, we have been successfully operating both an interpretation department and a translation department. These departments work both independently and interdependently.
Media
Producing video and various forms of audio projects including interactive CDs is a growing segment of our business. This area exemplifies the interdependency of the two departments as the interpreter department has the expertise to screen and assign voice talent while the translation department can project manage script translation, graphic production, etc.
Diversity
Another area of expansion for betmar languages is diversity training. Years of experience working with individuals from other cultures has lead us to a commitment to cross cultural understanding. We create customized diversity training programs tailored to the needs of business, schools, and communities.
Technology
betmar languages is continually expanding in the area of technology. We have gained considerable experience at working in a variety of software programs and continue to adapt to new programs according to the needs of our clients. We have a ten-year relationship with a computer consultant who has kept our operations up to date with today’s fast-paced technological changes.
